NORMAL, Ill. – Illinois State head football coach Brock Spack and ISU head volleyball coach Melissa Myers will hold a joint press conference Tuesday in the Kaufman Football Building. Fans can watch both coaches' press conferences live on RedbirdHD.tv.
Spack's press conference will begin at 12 p.m. The Redbird football team improved to 3-0 with a 55-6 win over visiting Austin Peay Saturday. The Redbirds, ranked No. 22 in both national FCS polls, will host No. 9 South Dakota State in their Missouri Valley Football Conference opener and homecoming game on Saturday, Oct. 4, at 2 p.m.
Myers will be joined by senior setter Kaitlyn Early in Tuesday's press conference, which will begin at approximately 12:15 p.m. The ISU volleyball team is fresh off a weekend sweep of Southern Illinois and Evansville, which boosted the Redbirds' record to 10-5 overall and 4-0 in Missouri Valley Conference play. Myers and her team are back in action Friday, Oct. 3, when they travel to Indiana State for a 6 p.m. (CST) match.
