Schooners Hosts The Brock Spack Show LIVE Thursday

NORMAL, Ill. – The Missouri Valley Football Conference season opens with a bang Saturday, when No. 4 Illinois State hosts No. 6 Northern Iowa at Hancock Stadium.  ISU head coach Brock Spack will preview the game against the Panthers at The Brock Spack Show on Thursday, Oct. 1, which airs live from Schooners on WJBC 1230-AM from 6-7 p.m.

The Brock Spack Show airs live every Thursday from 6-7 p.m., from Schooners in Bloomington.

ISU will welcome in No. 6-ranked UNI to Hancock Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 3, for its annual Family Weekend game.  The contest will be a re-match of last year's second-round FCS playoff game held in Normal, which the Redbirds won by a score of 41-21 to advance to the quarterfinals.

Coach Spack will talk with co-hosts Dick Luedke and Ted Schmitz, and will be joined by senior linebacker Pat Meehan.  The preseason All-America selection and 2015 STATS FCS Defensive Player of the Year watch list selection will start for the 28th time in his career on Saturday against UNI.  Meehan has 18 tackles on the season for the Redbirds, which ranks third on the team in that category.

Schooners is located at 810 East Grove Street in Bloomington, and sits just off the corner of Grove and Clinton Streets. For those who can't make it out to Schooners to watch the show live, it will be broadcast on WJBC 1230 AM in the Twin Cities and streamed live on GoRedbirds.com.
