TULSA, Okla. – Jakub Eisner, Christoffer Greve, Andreas Boers, and Dylan Steffens have been invited to compete in the ITA All-American Championships Oct. 3-8, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
"I think this weekend is a great accomplishment to our guys who qualified for the event," said head coach Mark Klysner. "They get an opportunity to play against some of the best players and teams around the country. This will be a great test for our guys to see where they stand with the elite players and tennis programs. There's no pressure on us so it will be nice for our guys to just go out there and see what happens."
On Saturday Oct. 3 pre-qualifying matches will begin, and the qualifying matches will follow on Oct. 5-8. The finals for the singles and doubles flights are set to begin Oct. 12.
For the finalists in doubles competition and the quarterfinalists in singles will be automatically entered into the USTA/ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships.
The matches will be held at the University of Tulsa at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center. Live video for each match at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center can be viewed at www.tulsahurricane.com, while updated draws and main draw daily recaps can be found at the ITA Championship Central page http://www.itatennis.com/Events/ITANationalChampionships/MensAllAmerican.htm.
