REDBIRD CHEER TEAM HOSTS COLLEGE PREP CHEER CLINIC

NORMAL, Ill. – Illinois State cheerleading is set to host a college prep cheer clinic, covering a variety of skill sets required for collegiate cheerleading Sunday, Feb. 15, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the North Gym of Horton Field House. A $25 registration fee and signed medical release form are required for participation in the clinic.  

CHEER CLINIC WAIVER

The clinic is designed to prepare high school and college students for cheerleading in collegiate athletics, by focusing on stunting, tumbling and game day instruction. In addition, participants will have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the Illinois State style of cheerleading, along with discovering what the coaching staff is looking for in potential ISU cheerleaders.

Clinic registration will be walk-up only, the morning of clinic before the scheduled start time. All participants are required to wear a red shirt, black shorts and white cheer shoes in order to participate in the clinic.
