NORMAL, Ill. – The Illinois State basketball team will hold a post-game recognition of senior guard Katy Winge after the Redbirds take on Missouri State Sunday at 2:05 p.m. Winge is the lone senior on the 2014-15 team. ISU will also recognize three senior managers at the conclusion of the game on Doug Collins Court.
Winge is a four-year letterwinner and a three-time captain for the Redbirds. So far this season, Winge is second on the team in scoring with 10.6 points per game, connecting on 36 percent of her shot from the field. She leads the Redbirds in made 3-pointers (35), three-point field goal percentage (.350) and assists (42).
Prior to Sunday's game at 1:15 p.m., all Redbird fans are invited to attend the Courtsider's Club Chalk Talk in the Legends Room at Redbird Arena. This is an opportunity for fans to hear a scounting report on the Lady Bears from a member of the women's basketball staff.
