NORMAL, Ill.  – The Illinois State women's basketball team will host Missouri Valley Conference rival Northern Iowa Friday at 7:05 p.m., and ISU students in attendance for Friday's game will have a chance to win a pair of Chicago Blackhawks tickets for the March 6 game at the United Center against the Edmonton Oilers at 7:30 p.m.
All Illinois State students will receive a raffle ticket upon entering Redbird Arena. A winner will be selected in the second half and must be present to win. Admission is free for all ISU students with a valid student ID. Illinois State University and the Red Alert Student Section has partnered with the Sports Marketing Student Association, an Registered Student Organization (RSO) in the College of Business, to make this promotion happen.
In addition, The Courtsiders Club Chalk Talk prior to the UNI game is open to the public. The Chalk Talk begins at 6:15 p.m., in the Legends Room. No RSVP is needed, but attendees need a game ticket to enter. The Chalk Talk is a great way for fans to hear directly from the women's basketball coaching staff about how they prepare for Northern Iowa and what goes into a scouting report.
