NORMAL, Ill. – In preparation for Illinois State's first-round matchup with Green Bay in the National Invitation Tournament, fans can watch Monday's men's basketball media conference, featuring head coach Dan Muller, beginning at 1 p.m., from the media room in Redbird Arena. The event will be streamed live on RedbirdHD.tv.
After Muller is finished fielding questions, senior forward John Jones and senior guard Daishon Knight are scheduled to take the podium.
Illinois State hosts Green Bay Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the first round of the NIT on Doug Collins Court at Redbird Arena. The Redbirds, who finished the regular season with a 21-12 overall record after winning six of their last seven games, enter the tournament as a No. 4 seed – ISU's highest NIT seeding since 2007-08 – while Green Bay earned a No. 5 seed after posting a 24-8 record.
