NORMAL, Ill. – Illinois State head football coach Brock Spack will host his weekly press conference Tuesday in the Kaufman Football Building. The press conference will be live streamed on RedbirdHD.tv beginning at Noon.
The No. 4-ranked Redbirds won a thrilling 34-31 contest against in-state rival Eastern Illinois on Saturday in overtime in the 104th meeting of the Mid-America Classic in Charleston. The win was the first for the Redbirds against EIU on the road since 2007 and improved ISU's record to 2-1 on the season. ISU will have a bye week this week, before opening Missouri Valley Football Conference action Saturday, Oct. 3, at home against nationally-ranked Northern Iowa.
Kickoff is scheduled for noon on Family Weekend, and the game will be streamed live on ESPN3 as the MVFC Game of the Week.
