NORMAL, Ill. – The 2015 Illinois State football season officially kicked off last Saturday at Iowa, however Tony Roma's and The Chateau will host a Kickoff Pep Rally Friday, Sept. 11, from 4-10 p.m., at The Chateau in Bloomington to celebrate ISU's home opener.
Admission to the event is free to the public and the event will feature free food (while supplies last), live music and a cash bar. WJBC will broadcast live from 4-6 p.m., to preview the Redbirds' home opener on Saturday against Morgan State at 6:30 p.m., and the Country Financial Redbird Classic volleyball tournament held Friday-Saturday at Redbird Arena.
Illinois State coaches and Reggie Redbird will be on hand from 5-7 p.m., to talk with fans and give some insight on the team. Fans can then stay for live music the rest of the night and enjoy some great food from Tony Roma's.
