NORMAL, Ill. – Illinois State head football coach Brock Spack and his staff will publicly announce the 2018 Redbird recruiting class at a National Signing Day party to be held inside the Hancock Stadium Club the evening of Feb. 7.
The event is free of charge and open to the public. Light snacks and a cash bar will be provided, and parking will be made available in lots adjacent to Hancock Stadium.
The annual event will begin at 6 p.m., with a short meet-and-greet session with the coaching staff before Coach Spack provides commentary and recruiting insight on the Redbird prospects, with video clips of the newest Redbirds available for viewing. Following a question and answer session, attendees are encouraged to stick around and meet the new members of the Redbird coaching staff.
"We always look forward to this event each year, and we are excited to unveil the entire class to our fans after the early signing period class was announced in December," Spack stated. "We all put in long hours traveling and meeting recruits and their families, so the signing day party is a great way to celebrate all of that hard work with the fans that care most about the program. We hope to see everyone at the Hancock Stadium Club to talk with us about the newest Redbird Football players and meet our coaching staff."
Prior to the event, GoRedbirds.com will provide up-to-date signing day coverage for the 13th consecutive year. As each National Letter of Intent (NLI) is certified by the Illinois State Athletics Compliance Office, biographies of each ISU recruit will be updated on GoRedbirds.com. In addition, RedbirdHD.tv will have a highlight video of each signee.
