NORMAL, Ill. – The Redbirds will head to Missouri State this weekend to compete in the MVC Individual Championships. The tournament is set to begin on Friday, Oct. 5 and run through the weekend.
The tournament will have seven flights of single matches and three flights of doubles matches. Tara Damnjanovic will play in the first flight, Natalia Bravo in the second, Jana Kustkova in the third, Laura Fitzgerald in the fourth, and Estelle Vanthier in the sixth.

The flights will go in order, beginning with singles competition and then doubles to follow.
The Redbirds earned plenty of accolades at the Championship last year, as Veronika Golanova and Jelena Karla Vujicic dominated their doubles bracket to take home the Championship in the first flight. Valerija Gercar and Laura Fitzgerald took home third place in the third flight. The Redbirds look to carry that energy over into this year's championship.
The Redbirds will play at the Cooper Tennis Complex in Springfield, Missouri. The matches will start at 9 a.m. on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
