•    Illinois State (14-5) is 3-1 in MVC play and is coming off a pair of wins at home against Belmont (6-1) and Murray State (5-2) last weekend.
•    Senior Silvia Pomarolli came up big for the Redbirds in a pair of wins last weekend. On Friday, Pomarolli picked up a straight-set win over Belmont's Cielo Tapia-Cruz by a score of 6-2, 6-4, and she then earned a 6-4, 7-6 (5) win over Murray State's Yuna Kadowaki. SCOUTING THE PANTHERS
•    The Panthers (2-12) are 0-3 in Valley play, after they dropped a 7-0 decision to in-state and conference rival Drake on Sunday afternoon at the Black Hawk Tennis Center.
