THE SERIES
 • The series is tied 3-3, dating back to as early as 2001.
• The teams most recently met on Dec. 3, 2017 in Redbird Arena where the Bulldogs captured a 56-45 win.
• This is the second time Coach Kristen Gillespie and Coach Kurt Godlevske will meet.
.REDBIRD BITS
• The Redbirds enter the game with a 1-3 record after falling to Cleveland State on Monday, 67-63.
• Simone Goods is the driving force behind the Redbird offense, scoring in double figures in the first four games this season. The senior forward captured a double-double with 25 points and 12 rebounds against SIUE and captured her second 20 plus point game in Monday's loss (22).
• Mary Crompton has debuted in a big way, adding three double-digit games to her resume. The freshman guard added a season high of 15 points in win against North Dakota, going 5-for-8 from the field.
• Freshman forward Lexy Koudelka stepped up on Monday, adding a career high of 12 points and six rebounds. This was also her first career start.
• The Redbirds moved up two spots in the preseason poll this year and were picked to finish fifth in the MVC.
• Head Coach Gillespie guided the Redbirds to their strongest finish in five years, during her first year at the helm. The Redbirds ended the 2017-18 season with a 14-16 overall record and finished sixth in the Missouri Valley Conference.

SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS
• The Bulldogs are undefeated and average a scoring margin of 37.5.
• The team most recently faced UMass Lowell and captured an 89-36 victory.
• Tori Schickel leads Butler, averaging 15.5 points and nine rebounds per game. The senior forward was also selected to the Preseason All-BIG EAST Team.
• All 13 athletes on the Bulldog roster have played in every contest this season.
• Butler was tabbed seventh in the BIG EAST preseason poll, following a 15-17 overall finish in the 2017-18 season.

The Redbirds return to Doug Collins Court on Thursday, Nov. 29 as they face the Oakland Golden Grizzlies. Last season the 'Birds dropped to Oakland 64-43. Â
