Schooners Hosts The Brock Spack Show Live Thursday Night

NORMAL, Ill. – The last regular-season road game is set for Saturday at Indiana State, as No. 22 Illinois State looks to get back to its winning ways with a victory over the Sycamores. ISU head coach Brock Spack will preview this week's matchup against Indiana State on Thursday at The Brock Spack Show, live from Schooners in Bloomington, beginning at 6 p.m.

Illinois State (5-4, 2-6 MVFC) ranks No. 22 in the most recent AFCA Coaches' Poll and No. 23 in the STATS FCS Top 25 Poll, despite a late season three-game slide. The resurgent Sycamores (5-4, 3-3 MVFC) are winners of three straight games and have playoff aspirations, after finishing the 2017 season with a 0-11 record.

Coach Spack will talk with co-hosts Dick Luedke and Ted Schmitz and they will welcome junior linebacker Ty DeForest to the show as this week's player guest. The Marshall, Wisconsin, native has started all nine games for the Redbirds at middle linebacker and ranks fourth on the team with 40 tackles on the season. He is also tied for second on the team with two interceptions on the season and has added a tackle for loss.

Schooners is located at 810 East Grove Street in Bloomington, and sits just off the corner of Grove Street and Clinton Boulevard. For those who can't make it out to Schooners to watch the show live, it will be broadcast on WJBC 1230 AM in the Twin Cities and streamed live on GoRedbirds.com. Fans can also listen to the show via the TuneIn app by searching "Illinois St. Redbirds Sports Network."

Fans are encouraged to watch on Facebook and submit questions for this week's Q&A with Coach Spack presented by Country Financial. Tune into the Illinois State Athletics Facebook page at 6:30 p.m. to ask questions and watch to see if Coach Spack answers them on the live broadcast.
