NORMAL, Ill. – The Illinois State swimming and diving team will host Missouri Valley Conference opponent Evansville for their final home meet at Horton Pool tomorrow at 5 p.m., before traveling to St. Louis, Missouri, on Saturday to take on Washington University in St. Louis and Wabash College at 1 p.m.
The program's seven seniors – Casey Balson, Kari Balson, Maia Cain, Kirstie Crook, Molly Hill, Elyse Pratl and Savannah Rubocki – will be recognized ahead of the meet at approximately 4:50 p.m.
"This weekend will be another great opportunity for us to fine tune our races against two good opponents," said head swimming coach Scott Cameron. "We have had a tough stretch of meets the past few weeks, and we are looking for this team to stay focused on the details while be tired. Evansville and Wash U will challenge us in different ways, and I'm looking forward to seeing our team keep pushing forward."
"I am looking forward to a chance to compete both at home and on the road this weekend," said head diving coach Phil Hoffmann. "It's another big step for us in our approach to the end of the season. Evansville has a good core of divers and will give us a chance to see them and compete just a few short weeks before conference."
