NORMAL, Ill. – The Redbird men's tennis team will head to the ITA Midwest Regionals, Thursday, Oct. 17, through Monday, Oct. 21, which will be hosted by Ohio State in Columbus, Ohio.
"This is going to be our toughest tournament of the fall by far, as we play in arguably the toughest region in the country" head coach Mark Klysner said. "I still have high hopes that we will do well, as the guys going are really peaking right now and playing their best tennis so far this season."
Redbirds Jorge Adair Bartra Quispe, Diego Herrera, Diego Le Gal Perez and Aleksa Lazarevic will be representing Illinois State in the tournament.
The ITA Midwest Regionals will take place at both the Ohio State Varsity Tennis Center in Columbus and at the Racquet Club of Columbus. Live video will be available throughout the tournament. Live scoring will be available Sunday through StatBroadcast.
