NORMAL, Ill. – The Redbird women's basketball team returns home on Wednesday to host Northern Illinois at Redbird Arena in conjunction with their Recycling Night promotion. Illinois State Athletics is partnering with the Office of Sustainability to "go green" and celebrate the power and benefits of recycling. Tip-off at Redbird Arena is set for 7 p.m.
The Illinois State Solar Car Team, a student-led organization that designs, builds and races solar vehicles against teams from around the world, will be in attendance with one of their creations on display. Compost bins will be placed around the concourse and the Plastic Bag Monster will be making an appearance as well.
