NORMAL, Ill. – Head volleyball coach Leah Johnson announced on Monday that Illinois State's 2019 spring volleyball schedule has been finalized, with a home match versus DePaul on the slate.
Illinois State will begin competition on March 29 with a 5 p.m. match against Milwaukee on the campus of Joliet Junior College. The Redbirds are set to take on Notre Dame at 11 a.m. the following weekend at Mother McAuley High School, before participating in Saint Louis University's tournament on April 13. ISU will wrap up its spring schedule at home on April 26, when DePaul visits Normal. First serve between the Redbirds and the Blue Demons is set for 6 p.m.
The 2018 Redbirds finished with an overall record of 25-8, claiming a share of the Missouri Valley Conference Regular Season title with a 16-2 mark in Valley play and untouched 9-0 record at Redbird Arena. Illinois State earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament, making the program's 14th appearance on the national stage.
