NORMAL, Ill. – Illinois State head women's basketball coach Kristen Gillespie has announced dates for the 2019 Illinois State women's basketball summer camps. The Redbirds will be hosting three camps during the month of June.

The Future Redbirds Camp will be Monday, June 3 through Wednesday, June 5, for all girls entering grades 1-8. There will be a morning session for girls entering grades 1-4 and an afternoon session for players going into grades 5-8. The cost of the camp is $100, which includes various instruction and a T-shirt. There will be various drills, lectures, stations, contests and 5-on-5 games, with instruction by Illinois State women's basketball student-athletes and coaches.
The Elite Camp will be held Monday, June 10, from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. for all girls entering grades 9-12. The cost of the camp is $75, which includes instruction, lunch and a T-shirt. The emphasis of the camp is to teach and fine-tune advanced fundamental skills of all players. The staff will seek to improve individuals' skills by balancing demonstration with intense, advanced drills and competitive team play.
The Redbird Team Camp will take place Tuesday, June 11, and Wednesday, June 12, for all high school varsity and junior varsity teams and club teams. The cost to participate is $300 per team which includes guaranteed three games that can be played on either or both days. This two-day camp helps teams enhance team development and play, while an instructional component will be provided.
Payment can be made online, or payment with cash or check is acceptable with the attached registration form. Checks should be made out to Illinois State Women's Basketball Camp. Refunds will be given in the event of an emergency. Otherwise, no refunds are given on cancelations, only a future camp credit if you decide to cancel.
Once an application is received, each camper will receive a packet of information with directions, check-in instructions and health information.
