LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Illinois State seniors Trent Wallace and David Rauer are set to compete in the NCAA Golf Regional, hosted by the University of Louisville.

Format: 18 holes each day for three consecutive days. The top individual that is not a part of an advancing team will get a chance to compete at the National Championships, hosted by the University of Arkansas.Â
Illinois State's Wallace is no NCAA Regional play, as the senior is competing in his third NCAA Regional of his career, as he advanced to the 2017 National Championships as an individual. He gained his entry into the Regionals by virtue of an at-large selection. Rauer earned his spot into the Regional after finishing as the Missouri Valley Conference Championships medalist. The top individual finisher from a team that is not from a team that is advancing will earn an individual spot at the NCAA Championships.
Wallace, ranked 159th in the GolfStat individual rankings will be the first of the pair to tee off on Monday with a 9:31 tee time along with Hunter York of Southern Illinois and Duncan McNeill of Toledo. Rauer has a 9:53 tee time, and will be taking the course with SIU's Luke Gannon and Missouri's Jamie Stewart (ranked 108th).
