NORMAL, Ill. – As a part of Redbird Fan Fair on Saturday, Aug. 17, Illinois State students are invited to participate in the annual Spirit Photo on the field before the Red-White Scrimmage at Hancock Stadium.
Students are encouraged to begin lining up on the field at 3:15 p.m., with the photo scheduled to be taken at 3:30 p.m. Free shirts for Spirit Photo participants will be provided by the Dean of Students Office at ISU, while supplies last. Students will join the Big Red Marching Machine on the field for this annual tradition to spell out "I-S-U" at midfield, in what has become one of the most requested University photos of the year.
Participants are encouraged to stick around after the photo to participate in Reggie's Roller Coaster, hear from a member of the football coaching staff about the upcoming season and learn more about how to take part in the ISU gameday experience. Free hot dogs will o be provided after the photo while supplies last, courtesy of ISU Athletics.
The Illinois State football team's annual Red-White Scrimmage will cap off the day's events at 4 p.m.Â
