TREVISO, Italy – In an outlying city outside of Venice, Illinois State closed its exhibition season with a perfect 3-0 record after an 86-61 win over LCC International in which the redbirds out-scored its opponent in all four quarters.

The morning opened with a three-and-a-half-hour bus ride from Florence to Treviso where the team checked into the hotel and went directly to its pregame meal.
One the game started the Redbirds found themselves trailing early in the contest, including by two at 15-13 with 3:57 to play in the opening quarter. ISU quickly responded, out-scoring LCC International 14-7 the rest of the period, taking a 29-20 lead after the first 10 minutes of action.
The second quarter saw ISU out-score LCC International 20-17, and then 22-13 in the third and 15-11 in the fourth quarter.
All 14 Redbirds who were in uniform saw extended minutes, as 12 of the 14 scored in the game. Leading four ISU players in double-figure scoring was Zach Copeland who scored 18 points while Dedric Boyd scored 14, Keith Fisher III scored 11 and Antonio Reeves also added 11 points. Jaycee Hillsman was just off of the double figure pace with eight points in the win.
Illinois State remains in northwest Italy for another day, as the team will take a train into Venice tomorrow and experience much of what the city has to offer, before returning to the states on Saturday.
