Illinois State Swimming and Diving Releases 2019-20 Promotional Schedule

NORMAL, Ill. – The Illinois State swimming and diving team announced their promotional schedule for the upcoming 2019-20 season. The Redbirds will host three home meets at the Horton Pool and travel to six, including the Purdue Invite, a tri-meet at FGCU in Florida and the MVC Championships. Below is more information on the events to be held at Horton Pool. More information will be distributed as the season progresses. 

Meet Promotions:

REGGIE KIDS CLUB- vs. Butler, Saturday, October 12 at 12 p.m.

• Motivational cards are going to be given out to kids, so they can stay active throughout the meet. Cards will be Disney-themed and feature favorite characters from The Little Mermaid and Finding Nemo, as well as others
• Polaroid photo station will be available for fans on the patio outside the main entrance of the pool, along with tattoo station, pin the goggles on Reggie and Cornhole
• RKC shirt giveaway

COMMUNITY NIGHT- vs. Indiana State, Saturday, November 9 at 5 p.m.

• Community members and swim programs in the area are encouraged to bring their families
• Canned food drive for the School Street Food Pantry for ISU students who need assistance
• PopSocket giveaway for everyone that donates a canned goods      

SENIOR NIGHT- vs. UNI, Saturday, January 18 at 12 p.m.

• The meet is dedicated to show support and appreciation for our senior swimmers and divers
• Senior highlights will be shown during the meet
