Redbird Gymnasts Travel East For the Pink Invitational

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The Illinois State gymnastics team hits the road to continue its road swing at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia to compete in the Pink Invitational hosted by Unite for Her on Friday, February 21, at 6 p.m.

Thoughts from Coach Conkling:

"This will be our first time competing in the Unite for Her Pink Invitational in Philadelphia. This is of the largest Junior Olympic meets in the country, that also has a college meet included. We are excited to compete in front of what should be the largest crowd of the season. Including us, there will be five teams competing and it will be different than all our other meets this season. The team is focused on building on our highest scoring meet from last weekend and will be pushing even stronger performances on all four events."
