NORMAL, Ill. – Illinois State men's basketball will host its annual retro night on February 15 as the squad plays host to Valparaiso.
The uniforms pay homage to the Redbird teams of the 1990's, the time period in which the new retro uniforms are based off.
Headlining the retro game is a RB4L men's basketball 1,000-point club reunion. The group of attendees will participate in a free autograph signing for fans on the Redbird Arena concourse from 5:15-5:45 p.m. Limited edition reunion posters will be available for fans to get autographs on while supplies last. The group will also be recognized on-court during halftime.
Among the Redbird standouts that are returning for the 1,000-point club reunion include Doug Collins, Tarise Bryson, Ron DeVries, Jerry McGreal, Dan Muller, Rico Hill, Derrick Mayes, Rick Whitlow, Dave Schertz, Jeff Wilkins, Roger Powell, Jarrod Coleman, Mike Vandegarde, Rich Thomas, Rickie Johnson, Leroy Watkins, Tyler Brown, Joe Galvin, and possibly others.
The game will also feature 90's music and fun entertainment throughout.
