NORMAL, Ill. – An exciting night of collegiate gymnastics awaits the Bloomington-Normal community, as Illinois State will serve as the host of the 2020 Midwest Independent Conference Gymnastics Championship on Friday, March 20, at Redbird Arena beginning at 6 p.m. CT.
The Redbirds will serve as this year's host for the annual rotating championship meet and will welcome in fellow league members Centenary, Lindenwood, Southeast Missouri and Texas Woman's. Here's more of what you need to know about this year's meet:
Admission
•   Doors will open 1 hour prior to the start of the meet at 5 p.m. CT.
•   Tickets can be purchased in advanced online now at GoRedbirds.com or at the North Entrance of Redbird Arena.
•   Prices are $15 for loge tickets, $10 for adult general admission and $5 for youth (12 and under) general admission.
•   The first 500 current Illinois State University students can reserve one free ticket … student tickets are available now at the Redbird Arena Ticket Office and online starting March 1 (Must have a valid student ID when reserving).
Parking
•   Parking will be FREE in lots adjacent to Redbird Arena.Â
Clear Bag
•   To provide a safer environment for the public and significantly expedite guest entry into Redbird Arena, Illinois State Athletics has instituted a clear bag policy for all patrons.
•   Each ticketed guest can carry one 12"x 6"x 12" clear bag plus a small clutch purse (4.5" x 6.5"). The small clutch must be carried into the venue outside the clear bag and is subject to search.
•   Guests carrying medically necessary bags or equipment into the venue will be required to have their bag/equipment inspected and tagged by security.
