QUOTES FROM HEAD COACH KRISTEN GILLESPIE
On ISU's lock-down defense:
"It was unbelievable team defense today. Terrion was outstanding against Petree – but we built that wall together and it was a group effort. Paige was great guarding Haack. I could go down the line naming players because everything we asked our players to do and went over in scout, they did."
On the fast start:
"That was key number one – we wanted to get off to a fast start. JuJu (Redmond) set the tone and has been outstanding and putting in a ton of work. This is the JuJu we know and love."
