NORMAL, Ill. – The Illinois State Basketball Coaches Shows, featuring Illinois State head men's basketball coach Dan Muller and women's associate head coach Jessica Keller will air tonight live from Joe's Station House Pizza Pub in Normal. Fans unable to attend the show can listen live on WJBC 1230-AM or on GoRedbirds.com, as Muller and Keller recap the past weekend of non-conference play and preview the upcoming match-ups.
The Kristen Gillespie Show, hosted by Greg Halbleib, starts tonight at 6 p.m. Halbleib will be joined by associate head coach Jessica Keller and redshirt junior Mary Crompton. Keller will be filling in for head coach Kristen Gillespie while she is on the recruiting trail. Crompton had 11 points in Saturday's win over SIUE, going 3-of-4 from behind the arc, and is averaging 9.3 points per game on the year.The women's basketball team (3-6) heads to Wisconsin on Thursday to take on its second Big Ten team of the season in the Badgers. Tip-off from the Kohl Center is set for 6:30 p.m. CT.
The Dan Muller Show follows at 7 p.m., hosted by Dick Luedke and Mike Matthews. Muller will be joined by junior guard Antonio Reeves. Reeves had 28 points and five rebounds playing in front of his hometown crowd at Chicago State on Saturday for his sixth 20+ point game of the season. He is averaging 21.3 points per game on the year. The men's basketball team (5-5) hosts two games at Redbird Arena this week with Quincy on Tuesday at 7 p.m. CT and Ball State on Saturday at 3 p.m. CT.
