LAREDO, Texas – For the second consecutive weekend, the Illinois State men's golf team takes to the golf course for a tournament, this time going south to Laredo, Texas, to compete in the two-day, 54-hole Border Olympics hosted by the University of Houston.

Last Time Out:Â Â Dan Anfield finished three strokes over par to lead the team at the Mobile Bay Intercollegiate, as the Redbirds placed 12th overall in the field. Anfield carded rounds of 74, 70, and 75 to tie for 24th place in the field, while Felix van Dijk and David Perkins each finished the tournament with a seven-over 223 and tied for 53rd place in the field.Â
Next Time Out: After a weekend without a tournament, the Redbirds take to the course again on March 15-16, as the squad travels to Lafayette, Louisiana, to compete in the Louisiana Classics Invitational.
