NORMAL, Ill. – Bradley (17-17, 10-11 MVC) came out on top of a 1-0 decision Tuesday night, as the Illinois State softball team (27-7, 13-3 MVC) fell on the road to the Braves in the series finale.

BY THE NUMBERS / KEY INNINGS
- Andrea Coursey registered the first hit of the game for either team to lead off the second inning, before Mack Leonard added ISU's second hit in the top of the third.
- Starting hurler Morgan Day and the Redbird defense sat the Braves down in order through the first five innings, before a pair of doubles in the sixth helped Bradley scratch a run across in the bottom of the frame.
- The Braves' starting pitcher registered a pair of strikeouts in the seventh to squash any attempt of a rally by the Redbirds.

Illinois State will host UNI for its final weekend at home, as the program will recognize its student manager, five seniors – Andrea Coursey, Morgan Day, Brittni LaFountaine, Rebecca Moffett and Spenser Strandgard – and Team IMPACT teammate, Coen. At this time, attendance is limited to player pass list only and not open to the general public.
