Wright and his brother, Gregory, who are the youngest of seven, were adopted from Haiti at ages of 3 and 5. Growing up, Wright began playing soccer before transitioning to football in the third grade and has not looked back since.

The Wright family has been able to stay in touch with Wenkers' and Gregory's biological family through Facebook, sharing photos and videos so that they can see how well the boys have been doing through the last 15 years.

Wright's NIL deal is being conducted through Bush Keller Sporting Goods back home in New Albany, Indiana.
