CHICAGO, Ill. - Freshman Aida Shadewald tallied 13 kills on a .379 hitting clip as Illinois State volleyball dropped a three-set match at the Flames Athletic Center on Friday night.
Shadewald has 12-plus kills in 11 of her last 13 matches.
Illinois State had set point at 25-24 in the third set, but UIC scored the final three points of the match.
The Redbirds drops to 11-16 overall and 4-12 in the MVC while the Flames jumps to 18-9 and 10-5 in the MVC.

-Illinois State will await other MVC results to see if the MVC Tournament is still in play.
