Illinois State University will host a March Madness watch party at the Bone Student Center's Brown Ballroom this Friday, March 18 as the 15th seeded Illinois State Women's Basketball team takes on the second-seeded Iowa Hawkeyes at 3 p.m. in the first round of the NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament.

The watch party is open to the all student, faculty/staff, and the public and admission will be free. Complimentary popcorn and refreshments will be available and attendees can bring food options from Bone Student Center restaurants into the ballroom.
The Redbirds punched their ticket to the NCAA Tournament by defeating UNI, 50-48, at the TaxSlayer Center in the title game of the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament. This was the fifth MVC Tournament title in program history (1983, 1989, 2003, 2008, 2022).
