EUGENE, Ore. – Redshirt senior thrower Logan Calvin finished 14th at the 2022 USATF Outdoor Championships in Eugene, Oregon on Friday evening with a throw of 19.57m (64-2.50), concluding his time as a student-athlete at Illinois State.
In his time as a Redbird, Calvin qualified for one NCAA Championship meet, where he earned All-America honors in the shot put with a sixth-place finish. He became the highest male finisher in school history in the event.
A Bloomington, Indiana native, Calvin won one MVC title in his five years at Illinois State and earned All-Valley honors seven times. He finishes his time at ISU as the second-best shot putter in school history.
