Reggie Redbird Tryouts Are Here

NORMAL, Ill. – The Illinois State Athletics department is looking for some enthusiastic ISU students to try out to be part of the Reggie Redbird Team, the official mascot of Illinois State. 

What does being involved with the Reggie Redbird Team entail?

Being a part of the Reggie Redbird Program allows you to be at the center of all game day activities. You will be able to interact with students, donors, community members, and most importantly, Reggie Redbird fans! Just as there are fans for athletic teams, there are always Reggie fans too. 

The perfect candidate: 

• Must be a full-time ISU student
• Must be in good academic standing
• Must maintain good physical condition as the suit is very heavy
• Must be able to interact well with young children
• Must be spirited and enthusiastic
• Must be accountable, timely, responsible, and organized.
• Must commit to at least 15 events a semester
