NORMAL, Ill. – As the 2023 season heads into the final month, the Redbirds hit the road this weekend to Springfield, Missouri, for a matchup at Missouri State. ISU head coach Brock Spack will preview the upcoming matchup with the Bears on Thursday at The Brock Spack Show, presented by Bud Light, live from Schooners in Bloomington beginning at 6 p.m.
Coach Spack will chat with Redbird football play-by-play voice John Fitzgerald and longtime color analyst Ted Schmitz about his team's performance last week against No. 23 Northern Iowa and what to expect from the Bears at Plaster Stadium on Saturday. This week, they will be joined by running back Cole Mueller as the player guest and ISU men's basketball head coach Ryan Pedon as this week's special guest, as his team prepares for the home opener at CEFCU Arena on Monday against Lourdes.
Schooners is located at 810 East Grove Street in Bloomington and sits just off the corner of Grove Street and Clinton Boulevard. For those who can't make it out to Schooners to watch the show live, it will be broadcast on WJBC 1230 AM in the Twin Cities and streamed live on GoRedbirds.com and The Varsity Network. Portions of the show will also be broadcast live on the Illinois State Athletics Facebook page.
