CHICAGO - Led by 1M podium finishes from Eva Reyes and Gaby Russell, Illinois State Divers capped off the regular season Saturday in the UIC Diving Invitational at Flames Natatorium in Chicago.
Illinois State's strongest showing of the day Saturday came in 1M as Reyes and Russell both grabbed podium finished. Reyes recorded an overall score of 269.35 for second place while Russell's personal-best score of 252.75 was good for third. Senior Kamryn Blake finished in tenth with a score of 233.70.
Reyes also led the way for the Redbirds in 3M, with a fifth-place mark of 263.45. Russell finished ninth, securing a mark of 247.05.
Team scores were not kept for the event.
