LAKEWOOD RANCH, Fla. – Behind under-par days from Ali Schrock and Avalon Woodward, the Illinois State women's golf team stands fourth of a dozen schools at the Falcon Florida Classic.
Schrock had rounds of 70 and 72 on the 6,069-yard, par-72 Lakewood Ranch and Country Club course, while Woodward had rounds of 73 and a career-low-tying 70 in the final round, helping the Redbirds to two consecutive rounds of 293, the two lowest rounds of the season for ISU.
Illinois State's 586 is behind only three other schools, Northern Illinois (564), Idaho (571), and Toledo (578) and ahead of Western Michigan (588), Central Michigan (595), Western Illinois (597), Bowling Green (598), Ball State (602), Akron (606), Ohio (607), and Eastern Michigan (612).
