This marks Illinois State's first appearance at the Inverness Intercollegiate, putting the Redbirds on the same stage as several nationally ranked programs and perennial NCAA postseason qualifiers.
About the Course
Founded in 1903 and redesigned by Donald Ross in 1916, the Inverness Club is one of the most storied venues in golf history. It has hosted four U.S. Opens, two PGA Championships, and the 2021 Solheim Cup, and is slated to host the 2027 U.S. Women's Open. Known for its narrow fairways, fast greens, and championship atmosphere, Inverness will serve as an early season measuring stick for the Redbirds.
