Elise Fennell’s Top-Five Finish Leads ISU in Fall Finale

JONESBORO, Ark. – Behind a final-round 69 (-3), Elise Fennell finished in a two-way tie for fourth place at the Lady Red Wolves Classic, as the Redbirds placed 17 in the strong tournament field.

Fennell's final-round 69 was her second at or under par round in the tournament, her sixth and seventh such rounds in 12 total rounds this fall, as her 21 career rounds at or under par rounds are tied for the third-most in program history, alongside Samantha Richdale (2002-06).

Fennell had a bogey-free round, using three birdies and 15 pars for her to finish with the 69, her sixth career round under 70.

Reagan Kennedy closed the tournament with a final-round 73, as her three-round score of 219 saw her finish in a tie of 28th place, as she had three birdies and 11 pars on her day.

Dani Grace Schrock finished one stroke behind Kennedy with a three-round 220, as her final round had 15 pars for the three-over 75. Reagan Braker, in her first NCAA Division I golf tournament, finished 102nd on a final-round 88.

The tournament ends the fall season for ISU, as their next tournament comes in February at the UNCG / Advance Golf Partner Collegiate on February 1-3.
