Morris Homers in Illinois State's 11-1 Loss at Southern Illinois

CARBONDALE, Ill. – Third-year sophomore Judah Morris blasted a majestic home run, but the Illinois State baseball team dropped an 11-1 decision at Itchy Jones Stadium on Friday.

The Morris home run brought Illinois State (15-23 overall, 4-12 Missouri Valley Conference) within 2-1 in the 2nd inning but Southern Illinois (24-18 overall, 11-5 MVC) scored in every inning to cruise to victory.

HOW IT HAPPENED

The Salukis scored the next nine runs for the run-rule win.
