EVANSTON, Ill. - Junior Megan Haynes tallied eight kills on a .429 hitting clip off the bench to spark Illinois State in a loss against the Big Ten's Northwestern at Welsh-Ryan Arena on Friday night.
Haynes' eight kills led the Redbirds (0-4) while sophomore Hannah Reichensperger added six kills on a .429 hitting percentage.
Northwestern improved to 2-2 after also defeating 13th-ranked San Diego last weekend.
