WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind.--Â The Illinois State Swimming and Diving team will compete at the Purdue University Invite which will run from Nov. 21 to Nov. 23. Competition will be hosted at Morgan J. Burke Aquatic Center in West Lafayette, Ind.
THE FIELD
The field includes Illinois State (MVC), Florida International University (AAC), Purdue University (B1G), Southern Illinois (MVC), McKendree University (GLVC) and Grand Canyon University (WAC).

Springboard Diving Prelims on Thursday & Friday at 1 p.m.

2023 PURDUE INVITE
The Redbirds were led by Madyson Morse '24 who claimed the 100-yard Breaststroke. Morse recorded a Missouri Valley Conference season best in the A-finals with a time of 1:00.34 to claim the Illinois State school record. Senior Mia Snow cracked the program's top-five with a time of 55.23 in the 100-yard fly, the third-fastest event time in program history. Snow also placed fifth in the 200-medley relay team alongside senior Emma Feltzer and junior Chloe Tyler.
LAST TIME OUT
The Illinois State swimming and diving team placed three athletes in the top-five as the Redbirds competed in an in-state tri-meet with Illinois and Southern Illinois.
In diving, Selena Corona took fifth on the three-meter board with a score of 196.45. In the swimming competition, the 200 yard medley relay team of Chloe Tyler / Sydney Hoff / Mia Snow and Ella Turken placed fifth while Lauren Wisdom finished fourth in the 1000 Yard freestyle with a time of 10:27.26. Senior Mia Snow also claimed second place in the 100-fly with a time of 55:34.
