Redbirds Set to Compete in Bryan Clay Invitational & Gary Wieneke Memeorial

 NORMAL, Ill.- The Redbird track & field squads will split between two different meets this weekend, as one part of the team will compete in the Bryan Clay Invitational in Azusa, California on April 11- 13 and the others at the Gary Wieneke Memorial in Champaign, Illinois on April 13.

Last Time Out 

The Redbirds competed in the Joe Walker Invite in Oxford, Mississippi hosted by Ole Miss, where junior Cade Ward and freshman Ryan Schaefer etched themselves into the top-10 list for the decathlon along with 10 personal-best and 10 season-best marks and times.

Competition will start at 9 AM on Thursday for the Bryan Clay Invitational, while the Gary Wieneke Memorial kicks off at 11 AM on Saturday.

Following the Bryan Clay Invitational and the Gary Wieneke Memorial, the Redbirds will send a group of student-athletes to Baton Rouge, Louisiana, on April 20, while the majority will head to Terre Haute, Indiana, to compete in the Gibson Invitational on April 18 through 20.
