CHAMPAIGN, Ill. - The Illinois State track & field squad completed its busy weekend at the Gary Wieneke Memorial, highlighted by Charles Cruse moving up in the all-time list for the pole vault and Devin Turner in the long jump, while junior Madison Saunders cracked the top-10 list in the triple jump.

The Redbird men had seven personal-best and nine season-best marks and times including sophomore Charles Cruse clearing a height of 5.15m (16-10.75), which puts him tied for fifth-best in program history, while junior Devin Turner leaped  to a mark of 7.63m (25-0.50) in the long jump, that mark puts him fourth all-time in school history.

The Redbird women had a total of four personal-best and five season-best marks and times, including junior Madison Saunders leaping into the all-time list in the triple jump as she is now fourth-best in program history.
