New Gameday Enhancements At Hancock Stadium This Fall

NORMAL, Ill. – The home portion of the 2024 Illinois State football schedule begins this weekend, when the Redbirds welcome in Western Illinois for their first home contest of the year. When ticket holders and fans flock to Hancock Stadium, they will notice some new and exciting things surrounding Redbird Football game days.

Season ticket holders will have access to two exclusive perks for the 2024 season. As a thank you for investing season-long in Redbird football, ISU Athletics will provide football season ticket holders with a 3x5 foot Redbird flag that can be flown at home. No matter where you live, make sure to fly that Redbird flag on game day and show your support for the Redbirds. Any season ticket holder who has not previously picked up their flag can pick it up from a table located on the East concourse directly across from the main Hancock ticket office at any of the first three home games. 

Waiting in concession lines will also be easier for Redbird season ticket holders, as they will have access to an express lane at the concession stands by showing their specially designed season ticket printed out or digitally on their phone. This express lane also grants season ticket holders free refills on 32 oz. fountain beverages all season long, featuring Coke products following the University's switch from Pepsi to Coke over the summer.

A family favorite, the Reggie's Kids Zone presented by Commerce Bank will now be in the OSF HealthCare Athletics Training Center (just outside the NW corner of Hancock Stadium) before the games. Reggie's Kids Zone opens two hours prior to kickoff (following the Bird Walk) and will provide the opportunity for kids to play football on the turf as well as participate in additional games and activities. Kids ages 12 and under wanting to sign up for Reggie's Kids Club can do so at the Kids Zone prior to each home game.

Fans at Hancock Stadium will also be entertained by on-field DJ, who will handle all the tunes throughout the game, and our in-game emcee is also back for all games this season. Those wanting to capture a lasting memory of time at the game will have the opportunity to stop by the Commerce Bank Photo Wall, which will be located near the women's restroom on the north end of the main concourse. Fans are encouraged to post their photos and tag the official Illinois State Athletics social media accounts to show their Redbird pride.
