Redbirds Close Out House Of Paign In Champaign Saturday

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – Illinois State swim and dive wrapped up the House of Paign Invite Saturday afternoon from ARC Pool in Champaign, Ill.

To open action from day two in Champaign, the Redbirds' 400 Y Medley relay team of Tyler, Fris, Snow, and Turken earned a podium finish with a third-place effort after recording a mark of 3:47.40.

Senior Mia Snow, a day after picking up an event win, secured a runner-up finish in the 100 Y Free with a time of 50.88.

Senior Giulia Basco recorded a podium finish with a third-place finish after a season-best mark of 2:05.83 in the 200 Y Fly.

The 200 Y Free relay team of Tyler, Kieffel, Turken, and Snow notched a podium finish with a time of 1:35.19 to finish third.

Junior Bailey Gott earned a season-best time of 2:05.80 in the 200 Y Back.

In the 100 Y Breast, Freshman Ava Ostendorf notched her best mark of the season with a time of 1:06.45.

UP NEXT

The Redbirds will travel to Oxford, Ohio, for the Miami (OH) Invite, which will begin on Thursday, Nov. 20.
