ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Missouri Valley Conference Commissioner Jeff Jackson has named the 2026 Winter State Farm MVC Good Neighbor Award honorees for the 2026 Winter season.
Senior Delaney Boulden was among 11 athletes nominated for the award. Boulden excelled in both the pool and the classroom, earning a spot on the Illinois State University Athletics Honor Roll every year of her career and was named to the university's dean's list six times in her four years as a nursing major at Illinois State.
Boulden earned MVC honors in the classroom after being named to the MVC Honor Roll each year of her career and earned the MVC Commissioner's Academic Excellence Awards from 2023-26.
The award highlights the student-athlete's impact in their community, along with their performance in the classroom. Throughout the 2025-26 season, Boulden served her communities in Bloomington-Normal and her hometown community of Lee's Summit.
Boulden was one of four Redbirds to represent Illinois State at the CSCAA NIC Meet in Ocala, Fla., earlier this year and will graduate with a degree in nursing in May.
