NORMAL, Ill. – Illinois State men's golf head coach Ray Kralis has announced a four-person signing class, including Gabriele Bravin, Fernando Cobo Delgado, Beau Eftink, and Rayden Tee.
"I feel really good about this class and what each guy brings to the program," said ISU head coach Ray Kralis. "We've graduated a number of key players in recent years, and the challenge is to build on their successes and raise the bar even higher. These four will join a very solid nucleus of underclassmen currently in our program, and I believe we have assembled a group that will do just that in their time as Redbirds."
Gabriele Bravin – Monza, Italy // Heartland Community College
Bravin was a First Team NJCAA All-American in 2024-25, earning a spot on the All-Freshman Team, as he placed fifth at the 2025 NJCAA National Championship (72-76-73-73). He helped his team to a sixth-place team finish at the National Championship. He ended the season ranked fifth in the Scoreboard powered by Clipd with an adjusted scoring average of 72.3. He is currently ranked second in NJCAA Division II through the close of the fall season and has a pair of wins with five top-five finishes with a scoring average of 70.2.
"Gabriele is a proven winner always around the top of the leaderboard, and he has shown he can go low in tournament rounds," said the Redbird head coach. "He has good control of his golf ball and starting lines, so he gives himself several opportunities through a round while avoiding the big mistakes. Gabriele is very motivated with big goals, and I look for him to have an immediate impact on our program as his game is NCAA Division I ready right now."
This season he has first place finishes at the NJCAA National Preview with scores of 72-69-63 and at the Cougar Fall Classic (67-68), as he has helped lead Heartland to a first-place National Ranking through the fall season. Over the summer he placed first at the Gran Premio Catello di Tolcinasco 2025 with scores of 68-69-64 and finished second at the Mattone D'oro with scores of 65-69-72-69. "Fernando has been tested and is proven at the most competitive levels, and he is on a trajectory that will help elevate Redbird Golf to new heights. He is comfortable when many aren't as demonstrated by his performances in the biggest events and the low numbers he posts. He clearly likes the winner's circle, and I believe he has the game to win multiple times on the DI stage."

"Beau is a multi-sport athlete and equipped with all the tools to excel as a Redbird. He has plenty of speed which will smooth his transition to the DI level, and I believe there is still more in the tank. I love watching him compete because it is easy to see he is locked in and loves it himself. He's tasted success against some of the best junior players in the nation, and he wants more of that. I think he'll continue developing at a rapid rate and be a force for us in the coming years."
