NORMAL, Ill. – For the second-straight season, Illinois State has earned a spot in the 24-team FCS Playoff field and will travel to Hammond, Louisiana, on Saturday to take on No. 16 seed Southeastern Louisiana. ISU head Coach Brock Spack will preview this week's game against the Lions on TUESDAY at Schooners on The Brock Spack Show, presented by Redbird Ale from DESTIHL.
Coach Spack will chat with the voice of the Redbirds John Fitzgerald and longtime color analyst Ted Schmitz about hitting the road to take on Southeastern Louisiana in the first round of the playoffs on Saturday. They will be joined by senior kicker Matt Maldonado and ISU Associate Athletic Director for Communications Mike Williams as this week's special guests.
Schooners is located at 810 East Grove Street in Bloomington and sits just off the corner of Grove Street and Clinton Boulevard. For those who can't make it out to Schooners to watch the show live, it will be broadcast on WJBC 1230 AM in the Twin Cities and streamed live on GoRedbirds.com and The Varsity Network. Portions of the show will also be broadcast live on the Illinois State Athletics Facebook page.
